3G is a third generation standards and technology for Mobile Phones.

WCDMA as Wideband Code Division Multiple Access is belonging to 3G networks. In theory WCDMA can support up to 14.0 Mbit/s data rate, but at the moment end user can expect a transfer rate of up to 384 kbit/s.
