Instructions for FN Blog users

The Forum Nokia Blogs system is based on LifeType open source blog engine. The LifeType documentation has some blogging instructions, but it contains also a lot more information for LifeType administrators. Hence we'll provide the short instructions in here.

NOTE: If you just want to get your first blog post up, you should look into the Getting started section.

More complete explanation on various available posting options are in the section Working with Blog entries (posts). However if you are planning to upload some media files (like images or video) on FN.com Blog server, which you would then refer to in your blog post, you should also read the Managing Blog Resources section. Note that if you plan to highlight a video for example from YouTube, you do not need to bother reading about the resource file management.

NOTE: You can also use LifeBlog to write the Blog entries (this happens through the Atom plug-in installed on FN Blogs server.

Finally, there are a number of blog settings which you can also change, and these are described in the Managing the Blog settings section.
