The Sensor category groups together all published wiki articles which are focusing on (or are related to) the use of the various sensors that are available on the S60 powered phones and can be accessed by S60 applications.
At the time this page was created the S60 does not offer a platform wide sensor framework. Announcements have been made that such a feature will be provided in the future releases but until such time there are some device specific and NRC sourced APIs which are described in the Sensor API page.
