CodeWarrior for Symbian OS
From Forum Nokia Wiki
Starting in Jan 2008, CodeWarrior will no longer be available for sale. Users will be able to upgrade their CodeWarrior products to Carbide.c++.
What does this mean? It means that we are encouraging our users to move off CodeWarrior and onto the Carbide.c++ products. We will do our best to provide technical support but there will be no further enhancements or patches available to CodeWarrior starting in 2008.
If you have not tried Carbide yet, then we recommend that you download the product and try it out. We have including key bindings that mimic CodeWarrior and have white papers and tutorials that help introduce Carbide to new users. All of this information in available at the Forum Nokia Carbide page.
The CodeWarrior for Symbian OS is a development suite for Symbian OS. It provides an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and other development tools, such as x86 compiler and TRK. The CodeWarrior for Symbian OS is maintained by the Nokia's C++ Development Tools group in Austin, Texas.
The CodeWarrior for Symbian OS was originally developed by Metrowerks because it was acquired by Nokia. Other CodeWarrior tools (non-Symbian OS) are now maintained by Freescale.
