From Forum Nokia Wiki

The Forum Nokia Wiki is a resource that has been created for the Developer Community to share information. It is hoped that it will grow into a responsive and useful library that can be used in a number of ways.
Being easy to edit and publish, you can expect that issues will more quickly be dealt with, and for priority problem areas to be explored in an open forum.
For Forum Nokia this Wiki offers a new way to help our developers, and opens up an important communication channel.

The wiki platform will make more permanent some of the important contributions that are often lost in the Discussion Board. We hope to also bring together material that has previously only been available on several different sites.

We hope that it will provide Developers with:

• An evolving and responsive Technical library that covers :
• Wider area in more depth
• Less “official”, more “responsive” information
• More practical examples
• Better community infrastructure and empowerment

We hope that it will provide Nokia with:

• Better community infrastructure and satisfaction.
• A more open way of dealing with Nokia developer issues
• Better interlinking of issues and articles
• Faster more reliable S60 application development

At the time of launch (Spring 2007) it is impossible to predict how successful we will be in creating this platform. Its success and continuing relevance will depend upon the involvement of the Developer community - as well as the active input from Nokia. We hope that it will prove useful to all.
