Getting Started with On-Device Debugging using Carbide.c++
From Forum Nokia Wiki
For those of you who have not yet checked out the features for On-Device Debugging (ODD) in Carbide.c++ Developer, Professional, and OEM, there are two Forum Nokia resources that are designed to get you started. They are the white paper On-Device Debugging with Carbide.c++ and a video.
Both resources guide you through the basics of setting up the ODD software, building the application, and running an on-device debug session. The white paper also includes a handy troubleshooting guide.
TRK Files
When using on-device debug, it is very important to use the most up-to-date TRK clients on your phone. Generally the most recent clients may be found in your Carbide product:
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Carbide.c++ v1.2\plugins\com.nokia.carbide.trk.support_1.2.2.5\trk\s60
Nokia will be updating a web page with the most recent versions of the TRK client as well as the profiler for Performance Investigator. S60 and some UIQ clients will be maintained on this page.
The most recent clients (as of Feb 2008) that operate on the S60 and UIQ production phones are found at the following location:
