Developer Platforms Available
Mobile Browsing Applications
Depending on the Edition, you can develop WML or XHTML MP websites. You can use ASP.NET Mobile Controls to reduce fragmentation and generate compatible web code for all Series 40 devices.
Newer devices supports Flash Lite web content too embedded on the browser.
Installed Applications
If you want to develop an application or game to be installed on the phone, you should consider one of the following options:
- Java ME platform using MIDP 1.0 (all devices) or MIDP 2.0 (2nd Edition and newer).
- Flash Lite platform (only newer devices).
