Overview
| The New File Service API for S60 3rd Edition can be used for recording video, audio, and capturing images.
This API is not part of the official S60 SDK but can be found in the Extensions plug-in package #1 for S60 3rd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, for C++, MR. Note that Nokia is not giving any binary compatibility promise for these APIs; neither between platform versions or within a platform version.

Detailed description
| The following New File Service Client (CNewFileServiceClient) functions:
virtual TBool NewFileL( CDesCArray& aFileNames,
CAiwGenericParamList* aParams,
TNewServiceFileType aFileType,
TBool aMultipleFiles ) = 0;
virtual TBool NewFileL( TUid aApplicationUid,
CDesCArray& aFileNames,
CAiwGenericParamList* aParams,
TNewServiceFileType aFileType,
TBool aMultipleFiles ) = 0;
take a Boolean value as the fourth parameter. This parameter is used to indicate that the handler application has the option to make multiple files with one request (for example, to capture multiple images).
However, this functionality is currently not supported by any of the handler applications.
