In MWS 1.3 it is possible to get the device location via the Presence application, and it is also available via the Presence REST API.

The location is not asked from GPS, but is network-based so the availability and accuracy will variate a lot. The location currently works in all A-GPS enabled Nokia S60 devices (such as N82, N95, N95 8GB, E90 and 6110 Navigator). The location needs correct A-GPS settings on the device (Position server = supl.nokia.com and a working cellular-based Internet connection).
