Image:NFC_photo_001.jpg Near Field Communication (NFC) offers exciting opportunities across the ever-widening spectrum of application areas and market sectors. NFC makes many tasks easier and more convenient by providing access to systems and services simply with a touch. Based on a short-range wireless connectivity, Near Field Communication is activated by bringing two NFC compatible devices or tags within a few centimeters from one another or literally touching them together.

NFC is compatible with pre-existing contactless reader infrastructure that is used daily by millions of people and devices worldwide.The native NFC functionality in the phone can access existing services by reading service shortcuts from NFC tags.
