Cool things

Image:7610-allview.gif

At the time it was released this was the most stylish handset around. With the cool looking experimental keypad and sleek lines, it looked like a designers choice. The phone represents a refined rectangle with round edges. Supports RS-MMC card. ( no support for full length MMC)

The menu works unbelievably fast ( allthough will slow down a bit if a lot of stuff on the MMC is installed and a few running) The bluetooth works remarkably great. I have transferred large video files (30 mb) to samsung D600 / D500 / Nokia 6600 / 6680 / 6681 / Siemens M75 / Motorola V3i / v3x.

The best thing about this phone is its software support. You can simply turn your Nokia 7610 in to a PC or even control your PC using the cell phone.

The camera works somewhat great , its an upgrade of VGA camera. Its 1 megapixel camera with reasonably good enough picture quality. here is a sample Image:7610-1mp-pic.jpg

Problems

You will find that many applications that work on Nokia 6600 and Nokia 6680 / N73 / N70 won't work on Nokia 7610 (especially games). This is primarily due to hardware.

The keypad is kind of a trouble if you have more than average finger size.

More or less this is a hige bang for the buck. Better than RAZR V3i ( due to Razr V3i lack of application support) . Better than Nokia 6600 Stylish and the casing easily changable. Huge software support.
