In 2008/2009 Nokia purchased rights to Qt,with this came support for S60 development and hence the name Qt for Symbian several update kits that are pre-release kits have been released.
Developers for Qt for Symbian should update to the latest version
During this time many articles were produced each using the, then "latest" pre-release kits. This article now replaces those pointers which are being replaced
The names of these obsolete beta kits is listed here. These beta kits are no longer available. The list is for historical use only, each kit included more functionality for S60
- Pyramid, was first kit based on version 4.3 partial source
- Temple , was second kit based on version 4.4 partial source
- Garden , was third kit based on version 4.4 and parts of version 4.5 source
- Tower was the fourth kit base on version 4.5 no QtWeb
