Rules of Participation for the Review a Wiki Article Contest (September 1 - September 30 2009)

The intent of this contest is to collect the best reviews of Forum Nokia Wiki articles from the developer community. To enter, simply review any Forum Nokia Wiki article (other than your own) during September with a short (two to three paragraphs) entry on the article's comments page. If the article is of high quality, also add the term ReviewerApproved within double curly braces as the first line in the article. Be sure you can back up your approval with your comments. See the Wiki Reviewer Instructions for instructions and specific reviewing rules.

All entries submitted during the time period will be subjectively judged according to presentation, language, straight-forwardness, over all quality and quantity of the reviews . Entries are to be original work not previously published, or in the case of previously published material, you must own the rights to re-submit the material to Forum Nokia Wiki. If the material is previously published, a reference and link to the original source must be provided. Only entries during the contest period 00:01 GMT September 1st, 2009 to 23:59 GMT September 30, 2009 will be accepted for this contest. Winners will be selected shortly afterwards.

The winners will receive a Nokia N97 multimedia device. Several winners will be selected on the basis of both review quality and quantity. In addition, one Nokia N97 device will be given away at random, so you could win with just one review.

The main sponsor of the Review a Wiki Article Contest is Nokia Corporation, Finland (“main sponsor”). The competition is a competition of skill. No purchase or admission fee is necessary to participate. By participating in this contest the participant indicates his/her acceptance to these rules and agrees to be bound by them as well as any rules and regulations of Forum Nokia and the Developer’s Wiki. You acknowledge and agree that no form of cheating will be tolerated. Any persons found cheating, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the main sponsor, will immediately be disqualified from the competition. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the main sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend, withdraw or revise these rules and the prizes at any time without notice and in such event the main sponsor shall not have any liability whatsoever.

This Wiki Contribution competition shall not constitute a commitment or create a joint venture, partnership, agency or other business relationship between the participants and the main sponsor of this competition. This Wiki Contribution competition shall not either be understood to grant to any participant whether expressly or by implication any ownership, rights or license to any intellectual property rights of the main sponsor and vice versa. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nokia shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the participant’s participation to the Wiki Contribution competition. The laws of Finland shall be applicable to any disputes arising out of the Wiki Contribution competition. Unless otherwise provided for in applicable mandatory legislation, such disputes will be finally settled in the public court of Helsinki.

Forum Nokia employees and contractors are not eligible for this competition.
