Self-signing S60 1st and 2nd Edition applications
From Forum Nokia Wiki
Signing the applications and certifying them through Symbian Signed was not introduced with S60 3rd Edition (Symbian OS v9.1). The features have been available for earlier versions of the platform but with the status of recommendation only. Self-signing was also one available option.
To Do: - add info about how to generate certificate
- add info about how to reference the certificate in the pkg file
- add info about signing done through makesis
