From Forum Nokia Wiki

The Forum Nokia Wiki is based on the most popular wiki software platform - MediaWiki. The syntax and editing rules will be familiar to anyone who has written in HTML. The basic test and subheading entry is very easy - just write the content. Formatting can easily be done later.

Anyone can browse and read the articles in this Wiki. However, to make a contribution, you must be logged in with a Forum Nokia User Account.

Edits you make are recorded under your username. When using shared computer please make sure that you log off, to prevent others posting using you identity.

Using this Wiki is straightforward, and once you have made a couple of entries, the process should be familiar. Any existing Wiki page can be added to or changed, by using the "edit" tab at the top of the page or within the subsection heading.

We have tried to group the subject areas of the Wiki into related groups...programming language, Technology areas etc...

It is through the use of categories that the real organization occurs. Each Wiki article can be categorized according to the subject areas that it covers.

We have based the category system on the same terms used on other Forum Nokia sites. This ensures that any search query can cover as much material as possible.

The use of the Wiki can be broken down into a few activities. Each has a few functions, and these are explained in more detail on the following pages.

• Reading - basic search, how to navigate the site
• Editing - adding or editing pages and uploading content
• Moderating - moving, deleting organizing and editing the Wiki.
• Administrating - Wiki organizational issues, user rights, structural changes
