A few comments on this: I don't believe the file size is relevant. This is a technical information the user should not be worried about. A more user friendly information based on elements relevant to the user, like the resolution, the length of the video, or the date of creation seems more useful. Even the file name may not be of any help, whereas a bigger thumbnail can really make the difference. An image chooser does not really have much reason to look like a plain file browser, and can be much more like an album, or an images flow. I also disagree that there should be a '.' icon for refresh. The view should, as much as possible, be refreshed automatically when a file is created.
