Just too many problems with your example. First of all, you seem to have forgotten that an IP address can be longer that 16 characters, hint IPv6 :-)
Second of all, why do you need to call Cast?
And lastly, why on earth would you need a loop for casting to char*? Just use PtrZ() method avalable to descriptors to do the trick!
