This example breaks Google's terms and conditions

Unless you have purchased an enterpise license, using this example is against Google's terms and conditions. Make sure you read section 10.8

"You must not ... use the Static Maps API other than in an implementation in a web browser"

Also, section 7.3

"Google gives you a personal ... non-assignable ... license to access"

I was searching for JavaME Google MAP api/sdk directly from google.. did not find any.. Are u aware of any such thing, even it means a commercial api. If you are aware of any, I would be grateful for any pointers.

Any case your API are cool and could be a starting point for research use.
