Understanding various error messages
From Forum Nokia Wiki
Installation
- Unable to install. Feature not supported. This usually means that your folder structure in zip file (.wgz) is wrong. Place everything under e.g. helloworld/ folder - and make sure zip package contains file structure all the way from helloworld level. If you extract zip file to you should see everything placed nicely under helloworld folder.
- Expired certificate This error is shown when you try to install an application whose certificate is expired. The solution is to set the phone date back, or to sign it with a more recent certificate.
- Certificate may not yet be valid or phone's date setting may be incorrect. You get this error when you try to install an application whose certificate is not available on the date set in the phone. The solution is to set the phone date ahead.
Access
- Unable to open. File type not supported. This occurs when you try to open a file whic has an extension that the phone doesn't recognise. While you may have software able to open the respective file, you cannot open it via the phone file browser.
