I'm Gerald Madlmayr, a research associate at the Near Field Communication (NFC) Research Lab in Hagenberg since 2005. At the moment I'm extensivly dealing with J2ME development for NFC enabled mobile phones like the Nokia 6131 NFC or the upcoming Nokia 6212.
Besides J2ME and NFC, I'm also dealing with JavaCard OS as well as reader reader APIs like PC/SC and the NFC FRI (Forum Reference Implementation). My major focus is application and service development including security aspects for applications, infrastructures and software. Additionally I'm also dealing with SIM Application Toolkit (SAT) and SmartCard Webserver (SCWS) developmenet.
Together with Nokia I already held two workshops dedicated to J2ME and Near Field Application development at the NFC Congress in Hagenberg as well as the WIMA in Monaco. You can also download the tutorials from the Forum Nokia Wiki. I try to support the Form Nokia NFC Group at my best.
In Juni I was among the winner of the Forum Nokia Coding Challenge 2008
Since September 2008 I'm also a member of the Forum Nokia Champions. Details about my activitys can be found in my Blo geri-m's Forum Nokia Champions Blog
