Wireless Messaging API-2.0 also known as WMA-2.0 is an extension and enhancement of WMA-1.0(JSR-120) and is supported in the latest MIDP2.0 phones. Using WMA-2.0 it is able to send and recieve SMS(Short Messaging Services),CBS (Cell Broadcast services) and MMS(Multimedia messaging Services) messages.Itis mainly used for sending MMS. WMA2.0 is based on Generic Connection Framework defined in CLDC 1.0 and is designed to handle Text,Binary & multipart messages.
