For the month of September 2009 Forum Nokia Wiki will hold a contest for positive reviews of articles. At least 5 devices will be given away with one to a random reviewer. Forum Nokia Champions will compete and be awarded separately.
The purpose of this competition is to create a member generated approval system so that other members may trust the articles and code examples on the Wiki. This is not meant to be a university thesis but a review and approval of high quality Wiki articles.
To enter, simply review any Wiki article (other than your own) and write a short two or three paragraph review on that articles comment page. If the article is of high quality edit it by putting the template ReviewerApproved within double curly braces as the first line in the article. Place the code before anything else on the page like this:
{{ReviewerApproved}}
It will appear with the thumbs up as on this page.
The review should consist of one or two short paragraphs describing the article and what it accomplishes. Following paragraphs should be a short description of why you felt it a good article. For example perhaps you used the code example or you felt the article was very instructive or contained information hard to find.
Judging will be solely on reviews of articles written in English for this contest. Only positive reviews will be judged. Please report any inappropriate articles or poorly written articles to the Wiki Administrators for action.
Quality and quantity of the reviews will be used for criteria in judging the winners. One N97 will be given away at random so even one review may win a new device. There will be multiple winners so start reviewing now. Eligibility and other competition details and information is available in the Rules of Participation.
Ron Liechty the manager of Forum Nokia Developers Community and Forum Nokia Wiki administrators will be the primary judges for the competition.
